[2022 Yonsei TSA Symposium] Launching multi-omics precision medicine

2021년 연세대학교 의과대학에서는 연세의대만의 도전적인 미래 연구주제를 발굴하고 기획함으로써 연구자들의 창의적 도전의식을 가질 수 있도록 Team Science Award를 신설하였습니다. 이에 "다중오믹스 기반 질병 규명 및 혁신 치료기술 개발"이라는 총괄 주제로 연구팀이 선정되었습니다. 본 연구팀은 2 UNIT으로 구성되어 있으며, 난치성 질환에 대한 새로운 병태생리의 이해와 혁신적 치료법 개발을 목표로 두고 연구에 집중하고 있습니다. 각 UNIT에서 이룬 연구 성과를 공유하고 세계적 선도그룹의 연구자들이 모여 첨단 연구 지식의 공유와 새로운 패러다임의 제시를 위한 자리를 마련하고자 하였으며, 제1회 Team Science Award 심포지엄을 열게 되었습니다.
코로나-19의 여파로 대면 심포지엄 주최에 한계가 있어 본 심포지엄은 온라인 중계를 동시에 진행하는 하이브리드 방식의 개최를 준비하고 있습니다. 비록 모든 참석자들이 한자리에 모여 지식의 공유와 친분을 쌓을 수 있는 기회를 다같이 하지는 못하지만, 제1회 Team Science Award 심포지엄을 통해 감각기학 및 신경의학의 난치성 질환에 대한 지식의 지평을 넓힐 수 있는 기회가 되기를 간절히 소망합니다.
